Acrylics on 41 x 33 cm canvas board.

I finished this portrait 10 days before my mother passed away. She just had time to see and appreciate it with her mental faculties still intact. It was also my first human portrait in acrylics and I opted for black and white to match the old photographs of my father’s ancestors which hang next to this portrait.
